We all know the scenario – if not the exact one then at least something similar

You have your week planned.

You know what gym sessions you’re going to attend. What classes you’re going to try out and attend. When you’re going to have you down time. Everything all fits together beautifully.

Then it happens.

Life serves you a massive steaming portion of revenge.

Maybe it’s one of the kids being ill. Maybe there’s a drama at work that means you need to be there more. The waterpipe bursts at home.

Whatever it is, you have experienced it when it throws all your plans out for the week.

Then everything can be going to pot. All the plans for your training go away because you don’t have time now. Or you can’t make the classes you wanted to, or the training that you had wanted to do was going to be an hour session, but you know by the time you get to the gym you’re only going to have 20-30 mins now.

It is so easy to think there’s no point in trying. Might as well just write off this week and get back to it in a few days…. Or, even next week when everything has settled down.

There is another way.

It’s about making the most of the time you have available to you.

This might not mean that you’re able to complete the whole session that you wanted to do.

It might mean that you’re able to attend your favourite classes that you wanted to BUT there are options.

Getting in your training for even 20-30 mins and structured well is going to be 1000 times better for you than missing what you were wanting to do completely – also has the added benefit of helping to handle stress levels so may well be beneficial to help you deal with whatever revenge life has served you anyway 😊

There is the virtual Spin option – so you can jump on a Spin for your selected duration even when there’s not a class on.

Then there’s the weekly Challenge or Workouts that we have up in the gym. No thinking required from you, all you need to do is turn up and get your game face on for getting your quick workout smashed out.

The point is, there is always something you can do, even if you’re limited on time and creativity. Life will always get in the way. Life will always serve you up some revenge. The question is just how are you going to handle it? Are you going to let it run you? Or are you going to take control and run your life?
